Hi Hendrick, thanks for the reminder about Kik. I did come across Kik during my research for this piece but decided to leave it out. Kik is certainly one of the leaders in this space, especially given their feature set. I really like the versatility of their bots — There is certainly a new wave of product/service offerings that will emerge in the next few years on social messaging sites when it comes to human interaction with bots.
